About Glen Infante
Glen Infante (born March 17, 1981) is a Cleveland-based muralist, painter, illustrator, graphic designer, product photographer, and the founder of the streetwear brand iLTHY. He first emerged from Cleveland’s music scene in the mid-2000s as a mixtape cover designer, developing a bold vector-style digital portrait approach that quickly became his signature. What began in 2005 as cover art for local artists evolved into a recognizable visual language that helped define an era of independent hip-hop design.
While deeply rooted in Cleveland’s creative community, Glen’s work soon expanded nationally. Over the years, he has collaborated with and created artwork for some of the most influential artists and public figures in music, sports, and culture. His design services have ranged from album covers and promotional artwork to logos, event flyers, and concert posters—work that consistently blends pop culture, illustration, and storytelling.
Early Life
Born and raised on Cleveland’s west side, Glen is the son of Filipino immigrants who arrived in the United States in 1978. His interest in art began at an early age, leading him to attend art classes at the Cleveland Museum of Art starting at just eight years old. He graduated from Valley Forge High School in 2000 and later attended Cuyahoga Community College, though he left early to work full-time and support his newborn daughter, Zoey, born in 2007.
Graphic Design Career
In 2006, Glen interned at a design and print company before being hired full-time the following year. Despite never completing a college degree, he built a successful five-year career as a professional graphic designer, gaining valuable experience in marketing, production, and entrepreneurship. His work earned recognition from local publications, including awards for Best Local Designer. In 2011, Glen made the pivotal decision to leave his full-time design position and dedicate himself entirely to iLTHY.
ILTHY
In 2009, Glen entered the clothing space with a now-iconic t-shirt design depicting NBA player Delonte West holding a pink frosted donut alongside the phrase, “You betta have my donuts.” The shirt gained national attention after appearing on ESPN’s Rome Is Burning and quickly became a collector’s item. The pink donut has remained a recurring symbol throughout Glen’s work, representing both his humble beginnings and the moment his art crossed into mainstream culture.
In 2011, Glen opened his first brick-and-mortar location, the iLTHY Workshop, which launched alongside his debut art exhibition, The Donut Collection. The exhibition featured fictional and real-life cultural icons rendered in his signature style, each holding a pink frosted donut—a direct homage to the original 2009 t-shirt. Several pieces from this collection remain among his most recognizable works and continue to be featured on iLTHY products today.
Glen Infante Today
Today, Glen continues to work as an independent artist, creating custom portraits, paintings, and large-scale murals while simultaneously leading the iLTHY brand. Under his creative direction, iLTHY has grown from a single t-shirt concept into a long-standing lifestyle brand with a strong visual identity and loyal following. Through iLTHY, Glen has collaborated with major global brands, athletes, and cultural institutions, bridging the worlds of fine art, street culture, and commercial design.
Through decades of consistent creativity, entrepreneurship, and cultural relevance, Glen Infante has established himself as a multidisciplinary artist whose work reflects community, identity, and the intersection of art and everyday life.
